The power is in us
Mostly in childhood, we encounter challenges that can affect us by frustrating us and disrupting our inner experience of okayness, especially when a crisis is ahead of us, so they encourage us to doubt ourselves and our abilities.
Yes, when there is a crisis when life puts a spiritual test in front of us, we can withdraw, hide from ourselves and everyone, be passive and do nothing – be a Mini Me. But if we pluck up courage and look at such a move out of injury, is it really the highest truth about us? It's not. Not at all.
We can find a part of ourselves with a burning desire to succeed, to persevere, to win, to show worth, to stand up for ourselves, to activate and feel personal power in our own hands. How? Easy – with the strength of will, the resources we have as adults with this awareness, knowledge and experience. If we allow ourselves to respectfully let those inner forces lead us, then there is no room for those parts of ourselves that run away, keep silent and withdraw out of the old self-defense mechanism. Who can recognize that internal mechanism better than ourselves?
Get up, smile, activate and breathe in life.
